My schedule at work has changed slightly - Saturdays are now 10-7 instead of the same 12-9 as the weekdays.
On the one hand, getting off at 7 is a lot better than 9, since there's actually a fair amount of evening to burn after that. On the other, holy crap did I not want to go in today. It's Saturday, damn it.
I will be trying to adapt, because not adapting is unthinkable, but my week one review of the divided days off can be summed up in 1002 words: "it stinks!"
I remain stressed by the fact that I am making mistakes. It's expected that we will, but I feel that I do not have enough time to figure out what I did right and wrong on the previous call before I have to go on to the next one, so I can be equally ignorant on that one. I will be giving hearty feedback the next time I actually have time to do so.
