20 Minute Smoothie (serves 1)

blueberries, frozen
strawberries, frozen
plain yogurt

1. Go to kitchen. Realize all the parts of the food processor are clean but not put away.
2. Go to drying rack. Realize that every single drying space available is full of dishes needing to be put away, the sink and counter have more dishes that can't be washed until that happens, and the food processor is among those dishes, as it needs to be washed right away after smoothie prep to prevent nastiness.
3. Put away all dishes.
4. Realize that the trip to the recycling center that is planned after smoothie time won't be as effective if it doesn't include the recycling that is among the clean dishes.
5. Sort most recent recycling into previously sorted groups. Remove tabs before bagging pop cans, for children's hospital or whatever the heck those are for.
6. Realize it's been 20 minutes since entering the kitchen with no damn smoothie to show for it.
7. Put fruit and yogurt in processor bowl at roughly a 1:1 ratio, between 1/2 and 3/4 cup apiece.
8. Add approximately 1 tbsp milk to thin (if the drink will not be consumed immediately, add less, as the thawing fruit will thin the smoothie).
9. Add Splenda to taste.
10. Blend until smooth, or until the delicious smell of motor emanates from the food processor.
11. Enjoy!

Yield: 1 to 1.5 cups.
Prep time: 5 minutes or 25 minutes, depending on your point of view.
